Over
70% of the world’s population
consumes Goat Meat. The United States
has been slow to recognize the benefits
of this remarkable animal. However,
over the last ten years more people in
this country have discovered the economic
and health benefits of eating Goat Meat. We
hope you will too.
Ashland Hills Ranch has a small herd of
Boer Goats. Our main focus is to
provide a superior meat animal and to promote
this excellent meat to all who desire a
healthy alternative to Beef, Pork, Chicken
and Lamb. Goat Meat has little to
no fat. For the best flavor and texture
cook with a slow, moist heat and avoid
over cooking. A CrockPot (slow cooker)
is an ideal vessel for Goat Meat preparation.
